Every year the day celebrates with great deeds because, on the same day, March 23, 1940, Lahore Resolution project passed. Moreover, on March 23, 1956, the first constitution of Pakistan came into existence according to which Pakistan got the title of the worlds’ first Islamic Republic State. March 23, 1940, is now celebrated as the day by which, through the best efforts of Muslim League, Pakistan’s Resolution adopted. The ceremony of Pakistan Resolution Day was held at Minar E Pakistan.

The real aim behind this adoption is to introduce an independent federation comprising provinces with the majority of Muslims Community. Since then, as a public holiday, the day is celebrated annually throughout the Pakistan.

Recently, Major General Asif Ghafoor has announced that a Parade ceremony will be held on March 2019 in Islamabad. On this great occasion the Prime Minister of Malaysia, Dr. Mahathir Bin Muhammad will appear as the Guest of Honour. The honorable guests from Turkey, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, China, Saudia Arabia, and Sri Lanka will also take participation in this Parade ceremony.
