Teachers are nation builders, lets celebrate World Teacher’s Day

Teachers' Day is planned to be special day for the admiration and gratitude of teachers. World Teacher’s Day is celebrated across the world on 5th October every year with great passion and spirit. Ever since the importance of teachers has been recognized by UNESCO, by adopting the “Recommendation concerning the status of teachers”, World Teacher’s Day has been celebrated yearly. This includes celebrations to honor the teachers for their special involvement and contribution in a particular field area or the community in general. It was first celebrated in 1994.

Teachers are the nation-builders. They build the future assets of the country. But nobody in our society thinks about the teachers. Teachers are in charge of building the children of the society as the future assets of the nation. They teach and train them all art and all science. They teach them good manners and behaviors. They make them the positive and functional members of our nation. So, if the teachers are neglected, the country cannot advance. On the Teacher's Day, the whole nation gets a chance to think of the teachers. They think of how to give the teachers their appropriate place in the society and how to give them value and respect. On this day, people give honor and respect to the local teachers in the public meeting. This day, beholds a grand meeting of the teachers and the public.

On this day, teachers are welcomed by their students and public in public meetings. They garland the teachers and speak a lot in praise and appreciation of teachers.

According to UN estimates, half of the flood affected people are student, nearly 10 million. Their educational activities were very badly affected and Pakistani teachers and some senior students voluntarily started to teach children. We also appreciate them and the people who are working for this noble case with heart and soul.
