Sexual harassment is not limited to the ladies working in our society but it is also exploiting the children of our society. It’s a routine that we heard daily on T.V channels or some newspaper that a 7 to 8 years child had become the prey of sexual harassment. How can we let such culprits to prey the innocents and this act is a child rights issue all over the world.

How the innocent children become the prey of such harasser? It's not difficult to answer but the important thing is that the ratio of such victims is increasing in our society day by day just like acid throwing incidents and we have to control it.

It's very important that we have to give awareness among parents that they have to look after and protect their children not only public but also at private sectors. They have to keep an eye on their children where they go or play. Parents should not let their children to play outside the home alone. There is another important factor that child don’t have guilt or fear from only a stranger but also sometimes in the family relations to whom we can't think about can sexually harass them. It is the responsibility of the parents to make their children be confident that they immediately complain about them to their parents if they feel any misconduct by any harasser being around.

It's the life to play and enjoy the childhood rather having negative impacts on the personality after being harassed so give your child confidence to be free from any psychological anxiety and distress. Once it happened then it may have long lasting impacts on the victim.

UN Convention on the Rights of the Child which was affected from 2nd Sep, 1990. This International treaty which has defined the child as a human being. The National Assembly has also approved the Charter of Child Rights Bill 2010 and by the approval of Senate this would be Charter of Child Rights an Act 2012. This Right of child covered many areas right to life, parental care, health, education, child abuse, prostitution and trafficking.
