Samsung Electronics introduced a refrigerator, naming it “Zipel e-Diary” which can connect to the internet and display photos, recipes, weather etc on a 10-inch touch screen.
Zipl e-Diary comes with a wi-fi and is compatible with Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA) devices. DLNA allows entertainment devices within the home to share their content with each other across a home network.
The company says that the screen can be used to take note, know the weather conditions, watch recipes and foods’ nutritional content and watching news online. It also has Google Calendar, software for scheduling your time.
The product comes with a hefty price tag of 2,174 US dollars (equivalent to Rs. 182,616) and targets domestic consumers.
