Firefighters in China saved the life of a teenage girl hanging from the balcony of a multi-storey building whose video went viral.
Firefighters in China's Yunnan Province have rescued a 5-year-old girl hanging from the balcony of a 16-story building, according to a foreign news agency.
The little girl hung out of the window while playing as her mother went downstairs to pick up the parcel.The girl's mother was horrified to see the girl hanging on the balcony of the flat at a height of 137 feet. She immediately called firefighters to rescue the girl.
The video shows the girl hanging on the edge of a window and the firefighter, with the help of his companion, reaching down from the upper floor.
Firefighters slowly reached the girl through the windows about 10 minutes later and picked her up and moved her inside the flat.
The girl's mother and neighbors thanked the brave firefighter. The girl's mother said she did not expect her daughter to hang from the window. She promised to take better care of the girl in the future.
