Due to the situation of the coronavirus pandemic, this year the Punjab boards had conducted the intermediate exams under the examination policy issued for COVID-19. According to the provided schedule, the exams were commenced from 10th July 2021 to 27th July 2021. The result had been prepared according to the policy issued by the Higher Education Department Govt. of Punjab. The intermediate 2021 result was announced on 14th October 2021 for all Punjab educational boards. After the announcement of the result, the gazette was also issued by the authorities. In the result gazette, the candidates who have passed the exam have been shown by mentioning their marks obtained in the annual exams. Moreover, the board authorities had also issued the result cards for the private candidates and regular candidates.
Intermediate Exams 2021
This year the COVID-19 had disrupted the usual schedule of the exams due to which the exams could not be conducted on time. Moreover, in order to facilitate the students, it had been announced by the federal education minister, Shafqat Mahmood to hold the exams of the elective subjects only to analyze the performance of the students. The result had been announced by the educational boards based on the elective subjects.

Promotion Policy For Students
Earlier the meeting of Inter Provincial Education Minister Conference was held in which it had been announced to award the passing 33% marks to the candidates that failed in any subject. The decision had been taken by considering the situation of the coronavirus pandemic as it is not possible for the boards to conduct the supply exams for the students. The result had been prepared by considering the promotion policy that was approved by the cabinet of Punjab. Now according to the issued policy, all the candidates of the 12th class have been promoted and they can study in the next academic year without any delay.
Special Exam 2021
The Punjab board committee of Chairperson (PBCC) has also issued the schedule for matric result and intermediate special exams 2021. The candidates who intend to appear in the special examination 2021 have to submit the application form according to the schedule provided by the board authorities. The candidates intending to improve their grade or marks are allowed to appear in Part-I or Part-II exams or both or subject/s with one examination opportunity when scheduled by the Board within two years of passing a relevant examination in the same group/subjects in the current/prevalent syllabus. The candidates who want to apply for re-checking of his/her paper/s can apply online within 15 days after the declaration of the result. The re-checking form submitted after the last date will not be accepted in any case. The registration schedule for SSC and HSSC special examinations 2021 is as follows.

Study Options After Intermediate
As the intermediate result 2021 has been announced now the next question for the students is the appropriate selection of the suitable career. There are many domains that the candidates can select although the performance in the intermediate annual exams matters a lot. The candidates that have secured maximum marks can take admission in the medical and engineering colleges. However, there are also many other domains that the candidates can choose such as arts, humanities, business, computer science, and many others. The field should be selected depending upon the interest of the candidates.
