Admissions for MBBS and BDS in Government and Private Medical and Dental Colleges of Punjab for Session 2024-25
According to the government of Punjab's notification issued on October 10, 2024, and the deadline provided by Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PM&DC) on January 3, 2025, the University of Health Sciences (UHS) has announced the admission schedule for public and private sector medical and dental colleges. Applications are invited from eligible candidates. The detailed admission schedule is as follows:

The admissions will be subject to the rules and regulations issued by PM&DC and the government of Punjab, including quotas for disabled and underprivileged students. Candidates applying under the disability quota must appear before the designated Medical Board along with original certificates issued by a government-certified specialist, clearly stating the nature and degree of their disability.
Applicants must have passed the 2024 entrance exam with a minimum of 55% marks (1100/2000) for MBBS and 50% marks (1000/2000) for BDS. Overseas Pakistani candidates who have completed their entire education from Grade 1 to 12 abroad can apply based on SAT-II scores. For MBBS, they must have a minimum of 500 marks in each of the subjects: Biology, Chemistry, and Physics/Mathematics, or equivalent MCAT/UKCAT scores.
Candidates who took the entrance exam in both 2023 and 2024 may choose the better result for admission purposes.
Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must have passed the HSSC pre-medical group or equivalent with at least 70% marks.

The domicile requirement applies to all applicants. Candidates must have a domicile of any district in Punjab.
