How to apply for Study in Australia
Application Form is available at https://www.immi.gov.au/allforms/pdf/157a.pdf and applicants can download it. After the completion your application you can apply by mail or in person at nearest office of Australian Department of Immigration and citizenship. First of all you have to apply in the education institute where you want to get admission.
Your visa will be associated to the passport number you used in your application. You have to use the same passport to travel to and from Australia. Your passport should be valid for at least six months from the time you lodge the application.
Important: To avoid major delays at your departure for Australia, you must advise the department of new passport details before you travel to Australia.
You have to pay a non-refundable application fee which is varying for your course selected when you submit your application. There may also be other costs included with the application, such as translating documents into English. You will also need to pay for any medical examinations.
If mandatory, you may also need to provide a police check. Charges for obtaining police checks different in every country. When required to obtain your own police checks, you are individually responsible for all preparations and charges.
Procuring Application Form of Educational Institute
Send investigation at least 12 months before the proposed date of admission. There are three ways to get application forms:
1. You can send request for Application Forms via email to the University of your Desire.
2. Most universities have a form on their website which can be completed online to request application material. Many universities have a downloadable and ready to print versions of their application forms on the net. These can be used for applying just as regular forms.
3. You can also get the application forms from many certified representatives of Australian Universities in your country.
When you fill your application, it is noteworthy that you comprise all the required documents with your application. Submission of a complete application helps case officers to quickly process your application. If you cannot provide all the required documents when you submit your visa application, tell the department which documents are missing and when you suppose to be able to provide them. Incomplete applications may be late or, in some cases, refused.
