The University of Bedfordshire offers scholarships to all international and home/EU students who apply for a Ph.D. study at the Centre for Research in Law (CRiL). 

PhD Scholarship in International Investment 

The scholarship will cover only Home/EU tuition fees. The fee waiver will be applied annually for the duration of the standard registration period (three years full-time), subject to the satisfactory progress of the student. 

 International candidates, if successful, will be required to cover the difference between Home/EU and International tuition fees (approximately £ 10,000 per year) for the 3-year duration of the studentship.

Eligibility Criteria

A good first degree in Law or related discipline (minimum high 2:1 (Hons) level) is essential; additional qualifications, in particular, a Master’s degree or relevant professional experience are desirable.

Applicants for whom English is not their first language are required to demonstrate their ability in English e.g. IELTS overall minimum score of 6.5.

International and EU applicants should also ensure that they meet relevant visa and residency requirements.
