Students with FSc pre medical background can choose this degree after fulfilling eligibility criteria. D pharmacy in Pakistan is approved by Higher Education Commission and recognized by the Pharmacy Council of Pakistan and is also accepted worldwide.

According to Pharmacy Council of Pakistan, there are 386 D Pharmacy colleges in Pakistan in which institutions offering degree programs in public sector colleges are 14 in total while private sector colleges are 23 in number. 15 colleges have been granted NOC to start Pharm. D. Program while 334 colleges are offering Pharmacy Technician Programs.
D Pharmacy Course Detail
Doctor of Pharmacy is a 5-year program in Pakistan.Universities have different system. In public universities annual system is followed but in some private universities semester system is followed . In annual system there are 6 to 7 subjects in one year but in semester there are 5 to 6 subject. It is the professional degree and a prerequisite degree to practice in pharmacy or to become a pharmacist. It opens the door to diverse and rewarding health care careers.

Pharm D Eligibility Criteria in Pakistan
The minimum criteria for admission to Pharm D is 60% marks in Intermediate or equivalent with medical subjects. With this, there are some institutions or universities where Entry Test and interview are also compulsory. This entry test is Internal Test and is conducted by the University and syllabus for test is from FSc course.
