NTS - National Testing Service Pakistan

National Testing Service or NTS, is Pakistan’s first public sector institution offering testing services. NTS has been registered under the Section-42 of the Companies Act, 2017, Not-for-Profit Company Limited by Guarantee. Moreover, National Testing Service is certified by the (ISO) International Standards Organization. Regarding the administration of National Testing Service (NTS), the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) is responsible for the administrative ministry of NTS.

The NTS Pakistan was initiated with the goal of enhancing the educational and professional testing standards in Pakistan. It wouldn’t be wrong to mention that National Testing Service, Pakistan, plays a major role in promoting merit in both the educational and professional environment. NTS Test/Products 2025

Following are the tests/ products conducted by the National Testing Service. Pakistan. Moreover, it is informed that National Testing Service (NTS) includes both NTS paper-based tests (PBT) and NTS computer-based tests (CMT).

National Aptitude Test

National Aptitude Test is conducted for admission to NTS-associated universities. Candidates are required to appear for a single national aptitude test which is eligible for all NTS-associated universities. However, the NAT score is valid for one year only.

Graduate Assessment Test – General

The general NTS – GAT is held for admission purposes to MS and M.Phil. degree programs. The test results are valid for two years.

Graduate Assessment Test – Subject

The subject-based NTS – GAT is used for PhD programs that highlight a specific subject area only.

TOEFL - ITP

TOEFL is a test for English language proficiency which can be used either for academic purposes in different institutes.

TOEIC

The Test of English for International Communication (TOEIC) is used to assess proficiency in the English language for non- native speakers. TOEIC is further divided into the following.

• TOEIC – Listening and Reading
• TOEIC – Speaking and Writing
• TOEIC – Bridge
• TOEIC – OLPC

NTS Apply Procedure

Candidates are required to register for National Testing Service as per the NTS schedule. The registration procedure is as the following.

1. Candidates can simply visit the NTS portal at Datacell.nts.org.pk for NTS registration.
2. You are required to upload a recent photograph for online registration of the NTS application form.
3. You can select your desired test by NTS.
4. Download the bank deposit slip from the NTS login portal.
5. Candidates can deposit bank fees in any of the following banks; HBL, UBL, MCB or ABL.
6. It is necessary to send the deposit slip to NTS headquarters.

NTS Result

Candidates who have appeared for any of the tests by the NTS Pakistan can check their NTS result at the NTS website at https://www.nts.org.pk/latestResults_upd.php and from our website. The lists of tests conducted by NTS are mentioned with their respective test dates and results. Candidates are required to enter their CNIC and Roll number provided by the National Testing service to get their NTS result, as shown in the image below.
