Admission Process

To enroll admission in a post-graduate degree a candidate must have successfully completed a bachelor’s degree. The admission process at any university is almost the same. There are several steps of the admission process that a candidate needs to follow to avail of the admission process.

Firstly, the candidates are required to get a prospectus of their desired university. The prospectus or admission process contains the guidelines and all the details of that particular university. It holds an admission form as well. The admission form is mandatory and should be filled completely by the candidate. Any incomplete admission form is not entertained by the university. 

After the admission process, the candidates are required to submit the mentioned admission fee at the given bank. Several universities have now included the online admission form facility as well. The admission process takes a month or more. The university announces its entry test and interview dates. Lastly, the university declares its merit and merit list of successful candidates. 

Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for admission with a post-graduate degree in Tourism and Hospitality is a bachelor’s degree in tourism and hospitality. The students who have completed their bachelor's are eligible to apply for admissions in MS / M.Phil. Tourism and Hospitality. 

Admission Intake

The regular admission intake for the post-graduate degree in Tourism and Hospitality occurs during the fall session. 

Entry Test

The candidates are required to appear in the general entry test required by the respective university. Entry tests are mandatory for the candidates applying for admissions.

The merit lists are issued by the respective university after the admission process completes.

Abdul Wali Khan is a public institute situated in Mardan. The university initiated degree programs in the field of tourism and hospitality in the year 2011. Since then the Department of Tourism & Hospitality is awarding degrees to successful candidates. The department offers a two years master’s degree in tourism and hospitality. 

University of Punjab 

The University of Punjab is the biggest institute situated in Lahore. It offers a variety of courses for undergraduate and graduate studies and many diplomas and certifications as well. The University with affiliation with the College of Tourism and Hospitality Management offers a master’s degree in Tourism and Hospitality Management. 

Hazara University 

Hazara University is a public institution for higher education. It offers a two-year master’s degree in Tourism and Hospitality. Students are required to earn 79 credit hours to get the degree. The admissions are based on the merit of all the previous academic backgrounds.
