Students should have a bachelor's degree with at least 180 credit hours or the equivalent qualification, of which 120 credit hours must be in science/biomedicine including 45 credit hours in molecular biology, microbiology and cell biology.30 credit hours in chemistry comprising biochemistry.
Students must have a minimum 2.5 CGPA in their bachelor's degree.

Entry Test For Admission In MS/MPhil Microbiology

GAT entry is mandatory to get admission in MS/MPhil program.
Students should have at least 50% marks in this test out of 100 marks.

MPhil Microbiology From National University Of Medical Sciences

MPhil microbiology degree program at NUMS improves scientific knowledge for practices in this through research, deviation and creative approaches. Experienced staff trains students to undertake basic biomedical research in the areas of Parasitology, immunology, virology, mycobacteria, gram positive bacteria and other disciplines related to the field of microbiology.

Eligibility Criteria

Students must have MBBS/BDS or equivalent education recognized by the concerned authority.

They must have valid registration with PMC.
GAT (General) entry test with at least 50% score.
