MS Civil Engineering Admission Process:

The admission process for MS Civil Engineering varies from university to university in Pakistan. In some universities, the students can complete their admission process through online portal while in mostly universities the admission process is completed manually. The basic steps for admission which are common in almost all universities are mentioned below for the convenience of the students. 

  • Complete admission form and all the requirements.
  • Provide your original documents to the university
  • Pay admission fee in the mentioned bank 

Eligibility Criteria:

Eligibility criteria for admission in MS Civil Engineering are minimum 16 years qualification (graduation). The students must have 1st or 2nd division for admission in MS Civil Engineering as the students with 3rd division are not eligible for admission in master program. Eligibility criteria of one university may be different from another one. 

Admission Intakes:

Usually, 2 times admissions are offered in a year for MS Civil Engineering. The admissions are opened in spring and fall for MS Civil Engineering in many universities. The admission dates are mentioned on the official websites of institutes. Regular and self support programs are also offered by various universities in MS Civil Engineering. 

Entry / Entrance Test for Admission:

Entry test is mandatory for admission in public sector universities. The universities can conduct entry test through LGAT, NTS and GAT or can conduct their own test. Students need to pass the entry test with minimum 50% marks for admission in MS Civil Engineering. 

Merit Lists:

Each university uploads its merit list after calculating merit according to merit formula for a respective program.  The selected students can complete their admission process.  Mostly, three merit lists are uploaded by the universities but more merit lists can also be uploaded. The merit of MS Civil Engineering is normally high in public sector universities.

 Fee Structure:

The fee of MS Civil Engineering ranges from Rs. 70000 to Rs. 80000 in public sector universities. The total fee of MS Civil Engineering for 2 years is almost Rs. 300,000 to Rs. 400,000.
