Walled City Authority Lahore is a government organization responsible for the development and protection of walled city. Walled City of Lahore is an ancient and cultural identity of Pakistan. Most of the foreign tourists visit these locations for enjoying culture of Lahore and gathering more information. It was built by the Mughal emperors in their time. Walled City is also called Old City or Old Lahore. Two of the iconic symbols of Pakistan are located here. They are Shahi Qila (Royal Fort) and Badshahi Mosque.

Government of Punjab has separated this section from other portion of Lahore which is controlled by Lahore Development Authority. Walled City Act was passed in 2012 for the preservation of heritage sites. Walled City Authority has been allocated lot of tasks. Numerous professionals are required for the posts. Staff is appointed on the basis of contract. Most of the jobs require relevant qualifications and work experience. Relaxation in the age limit is different for various candidates. Specific candidates will be given more exemptions like women and disabled. Quota of them are reserved for some of the jobs. Contract is of 3 years for most jobs of Walled City Authority Jobs. Excellent grades in test is required which is conducted by National Testing Service.
