VICE CHANCELLOR

University of Kotli, Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJ&K)

The University of Kotli Azad Jammu and Kashmir is a prestigious public sector higher education institution, established under the Act IX of 2014 by the Legislative Assembly of AJ&K. The University is committed to academic excellence, research innovation, and societal development.

Applications are invited from distinguished academicians and scholars of international repute for the position of Vice Chancellor.

?? Essential Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must meet the following minimum eligibility criteria:

? Academic Qualification

PhD degree from a university/institution recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan.

? Professional Experience

Minimum 20 years of relevant experience in teaching, research, or academic administration, including:

At least 5 years as a Full Professor at an HEC-recognized university/institution, or

Equivalent rank with professional experience in a national or international research and development (R&D) organization.

? Leadership & Administrative Skills

Proven experience in:

Academic leadership (e.g. Dean, Director, Principal, or Department Chair)

Research project management and securing competitive funding

Institutional development and strategic planning

Academic governance and policy implementation

? Age Limit

Maximum age: 65 years as of the closing date for application submission.
