Establishment of Medical Cannabis Greenhouses For Biotechnology Derived Bio-products, National Hemp & Cannabis Analytical Laboratory and National Industrial Hemp & Medicinal Cannabis Authority

Hiring on Contract Basis

PCSIR, an R&D Organization working under the Federal Ministry of Science and Technology, Islamabad, requires the following staff for its project "Establishment of Medical Cannabis Greenhouses For Biotechnology Derived Bio-products, National Hemp & Cannabis Analytical Laboratory and National Industrial Hemp & Medicinal Cannabis Authority PCSIR Labs/ Head Office Islamabad." The positions are purely on a contract basis for one year, which will be extended upon the approval of the competent authority, on the following terms and conditions:

1 Senior Scientific Officer PPS-08 02 Ph.D. (with two years' experience) or MPhil (with 04 years experience) or MSc (with 05 years experience) in Analytical Chemistry/Biochemistry/Microbiology/Biotechnology. Experience in reputed organization, especially practical work on GC-MS, LC-MS/MS, HPLC, ICP-MS, qPCR, and Atomic Absorption, etc.
2 Scientific Officer PPS-07 03 M.Sc./M.Phil. or equivalent from a recognized University by HEC in the following subjects: Biochemistry/Analytical Chemistry/Microbiology. 02 years' experience in a reputed organization, especially practical work on GC-MS, LC-MS/MS, HPLC, and Atomic Absorption, etc.
3 Senior Engineer PPS-08 01 B.Sc. (Civil Engineering) with 07 years of relevant experience or MS (Civil Engineering) with 04 years of relevant experience or Ph.D. (Civil Engineering) with 02 years of relevant experience.
4 Assistant Procurement PPS-06 01 16 years of education with 05 years of relevant experience, having full command of PPRA/PEC rules.
5 Assistant Account Officer PPS-06 01 M.Com/MBA (Finance) with at least 5 years' experience in Admin/Accounts/Audit in Government/Semi-Government/Reputed organization.

Eligibility Criteria:

i. For S. No 1, the maximum age limit is up to 35 years.
ii. Preference will be given to candidates having substantial experience in the relevant field.
iii. For S. No 1, only candidates having throughout first division in their academic career are eligible to apply.
iv. Only one second division throughout the career is accepted, and no third division will be accepted.
v. Applications on prescribed form along with CVs and passport size photographs should reach the given address within 15 days of the publication of this advertisement.
vi. Experience will be counted as per award of degree (as required).

viii. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview, for which no TA/DA shall be admissible.
