JOB OPPORTUNITIES

Applications are invited from Pakistani Nationals for the following positions in PCSIR. The prescribed application form is available for download on the official website of PCSIR: www.pcsir.gov.pk.

S. No. 1: IT Specialist

Number of Positions: 01

Minimum Qualification:

Master's Degree (or equivalent, 16 years of education) in the relevant field, along with a minimum of 10 years of post-qualification experience;
OR

Ph.D. in the relevant field, along with a minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience.
Maximum Age Limit: 62 years

Required Skills and Experience:

Proven excellence in Database Management Systems, Data Analysis, and Report Development.

Adequate knowledge of Developing Interactive Media, Information System Strategy, Computer Networking, Java Server Pages (JSP), HTML, SQL Server, Seagate Crystal Report, and Visual Basic.

Preference will be given to candidates with expertise in these areas.

TERMS & CONDITIONS:

Contractual Appointment: Initially for 12 months, extendable for an additional 1 year based on satisfactory performance.

Remuneration: Negotiable, depending on the candidate's qualifications and experience.

Preferred Candidates: Those with higher qualifications and excellent academic records.

Exclusion: Candidates with 3rd Division in any academic qualification will not be considered.

Government Servants: Those already in government service must apply through the proper channel.

Reservation of Rights: PCSIR reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of posts or to postpone or cancel the recruitment process at any stage, without assigning any reason.

Merit-Based Selection: Selection will be based purely on merit, and only shortlisted candidates will be called for interviews.

No TA/DA: No traveling allowances or daily allowances will be paid for the test/interview.

Regulations: PCSIR’s recruitment rules and regulations will apply.

Initial Place of Posting:

PCSIR Labs Complex, Karachi. However, successful candidates may be posted anywhere in PCSIR laboratories across Pakistan.
