Career Opportunities at Schools of Nursing & Midwifery

The Health & Population Department of the Government of Punjab invites applications from qualified and experienced individuals domiciled in Punjab for various project-based teaching and administrative positions. These positions are located in Lahore, Faisalabad, Multan, and Sahiwal. The selected candidates will receive a market-competitive salary package on a contract basis (non-transferable).

General Terms and Conditions

Contract Basis: Positions are offered on a contract basis, extendable subject to performance, under the Contract Appointment Policy 2004 (amended).

Age Relaxation: Applicable as per government policy.

Quota: Government quotas will be applied.

Transgender Candidates: Encouraged to apply.

Domicile Requirement: Only candidates with a Punjab domicile are eligible.

Post-Specific: The vacancies are non-transferable.

TA/DA: No TA/DA will be paid for the test/interview.

Government Employees: Apply through proper channels.

Age & Experience: Will be calculated on the last date of application submission.

Fake Documents: Submission of fake documents will lead to disqualification.

Degree Recognition: Only HEC-recognized degrees will be considered.

Documents: Originals and attested copies must be provided during the interview.

Vacancy Changes: Number of vacancies may be increased or decreased without notice.

Right to Reject: The department reserves the right to cancel the recruitment process.

Appointment Terms: Final terms and conditions will be set at the time of appointment.

Decision: The department’s decisions on recruitment matters are final.

Multiple Applications: Separate applications are required for applying to multiple positions.

Application Submission: Submit the application along with the deposit slip, CNIC copy, photos, and relevant documents directly to NTS via courier.

Test Fee Payment: Pay the fee using 1 Link 1 Bill or other available methods.

Incomplete Applications: Incomplete or late applications will not be entertained.

Deadline: Applications must reach NTS by 03.09.2025.

Test Date: The date for the written test will be communicated to shortlisted candidates.

Roll No. Slips: Roll No. Slips will be available on the NTS website before the test.

Test Passing Criteria: Candidates must secure at least 40% in the NTS test to qualify.
