Punjab Labour Court is a law enforcement agency established in 2010. Distinct law passed which is called Punjab Industrial Relations Act in 2010 for founding this institutions. Tribunals have been setup in the major cities of Pakistan. Appellate Authority is higher authority which supervises these courts. Superior judicial officials are appointed as presiding officers of these courts. There are various legislations present according to which these benches work. There has been various violations in the labour market of Punjab in the past and there was no authority for providing relief to the victims.
