The National Disaster Risk Management Fund (NDRMF) invites applications from vibrant, qualified, and experienced professionals for the following Islamabad-based temporary (contingent) positions:

?? Available Positions

?? 1. NatCat Specialist (01 Position)

Tenure: 3 Months
Maximum Age Limit: 57 Years

Required Qualification:

MS/PhD (Minimum 16 years of education) in one or more of the following fields:

GIS & Remote Sensing (RS)

Geo-Informatics

Spatial Data Science

Hazard/NatCat Risk Modeling

GIS Modeling, GIS Development & Programming

Required Experience:

Minimum 10 years of industry experience in managing data centers or large-scale GIS/RS-based risk assessment projects

Expert knowledge in:

GIS/IT/SDI infrastructure

Operating systems, configurations, IT applications

Web-GIS, Mobile-GIS, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Machine Learning (ML) applications

At least 5 years of experience in managing GIS/Spatial Data Centers

Expertise in Geophysical and Hydro-meteorological Hazards Modeling

Strong knowledge of risk management, business impact analysis, and contingency planning

?? 2. GIS Developer / Modeling Expert – NatCat Data Center (01 Position)

Tenure: 6 Months
Maximum Age Limit: 35 Years

Required Qualification:

BS/MS in:

Geoinformatics

Computer Science

GIS Development & Programming

Other related fields

Required Experience:

Minimum 2 years post-graduation experience and 3 years overall experience

Participation in at least 5 national/international GIS projects of similar nature

Expertise in:

Developing user-friendly WebGIS dashboards and interfaces

JavaScript libraries (e.g., Node.js, Leaflet, OpenLayers)

Mapping APIs (e.g., Google Maps API)

Data visualization tools (e.g., D3.js, Chart.js)
