TEMPORARY VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

NDRMF seeks the services of qualified contingent staff (temporary basis) for the following Islamabad-based position on a 6-month contract:

Position:

Capacity Building & Outreach Expert (One Position)

Required Qualification & Experience:

Education:

  • Advanced degree (Master’s or higher) in:

    • Disaster Risk Management

    • Environmental Sciences / Environmental Physics

    • Environmental Geography / Geoinformatics

    • Public Policy or a related field

Experience:

  • Minimum 7 years of relevant professional experience.

  • At least 3 years in training, capacity building, or knowledge management.

  • Proven expertise in:

    • Disaster risk modeling & hazard mapping

    • Risk communication & technical disaster management

  • Familiarity with:

    • Geospatial tools (ArcGIS, QGIS)

    • Risk models & climate/disaster data systems

  • Demonstrated ability to engage with stakeholders (academia, public/private sectors, international organizations).

Age Limit:

  • Minimum: 18 years | Maximum: 57 years
