Overview

HEC invites applications from Pakistani nationals for various positions under the PSDP-funded project titled Prime Minister's Laptop Scheme. These appointments will be on a contract basis. Details of the positions are as follows:

1. Project Director

  • Project Pay Scale (PPS-10)
    Salary: Rs. 437,500/month (all-inclusive)
    Vacancies: 1 (Merit)
    Age Limit: 55 years
    Qualifications:
    • Master’s Degree or equivalent (at least 2nd Division) from an HEC-recognized institution.
    • Experience:
      • 12 years of relevant experience, including five years of managerial experience in a reputable public/private sector organization.

2. Regional Coordinator

  • Project Pay Scale (PPS-09)
    Salary: Rs. 306,250/month (all-inclusive)
    Vacancies: 2
    • Punjab: 1
    • Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 1
      Age Limit: 50 years
      Qualifications:
    • Master’s/Bachelor’s (16 years) degree, preferably in Business Administration, Computer Science, or Information Technology (at least 2nd Division) from an HEC-recognized institution.
    • Experience:
      • 7 years of relevant experience, including three years of managerial/project handling roles in a reputable public/private sector organization.

3. Project Manager

  • Project Pay Scale (PPS-08)
    Salary: Rs. 218,750/month (all-inclusive)
    Vacancies: 1 (Merit)
    Age Limit: 50 years
    Qualifications:
    • Master’s/Bachelor’s (16 years) degree (at least 2nd Division) from an HEC-recognized institution.
    • Experience:
      • 5 years of relevant experience, including three years at a managerial/supervisory level.
    • Proficiency in MS Office and MS Project is mandatory.

4. Project Officer

  • Project Pay Scale (PPS-07)
    Salary: Rs. 157,500/month (all-inclusive)
    Vacancies: 2
    • Punjab: 1
    • Sindh (Rural): 1
      Age Limit: 40 years
      Qualifications:
    • Master’s/Bachelor’s (16 years) degree, preferably in Business Administration, Computer Science, or Information Technology (at least 2nd Division) from an HEC-recognized institution.
    • Experience:
      • 2 years of relevant experience.

5. Accounts Officer

  • Project Pay Scale (PPS-07)
    Salary: Rs. 157,500/month (all-inclusive)
    Vacancies: 1 (Merit)
    Age Limit: 40 years
    Qualifications:
    • MBA (Finance)/M.Com/ICMA or equivalent (at least 2nd Division) from an HEC-recognized institution.
    • Experience:
      • 3 years of relevant experience, including one year of mid-level management in a reputable public/private organization.

    • Test centers: Islamabad/Rawalpindi, Karachi, Lahore, Quetta, and Peshawar.
    • Interviews for outstation candidates will be conducted via audio/video conferencing at the nearest location.

  3. Application Fee:

    • Pay Rs. 600/- online in HEC’s Account No. 17427900133401 at Habib Bank Ltd.
    • Upload the receipt on the HEC website.

  4. Other Conditions:

    • Candidates already in government service must apply through the proper channel.
    • Five years of general age relaxation is already included. Additional relaxation per government rules.
    • Only post-qualification experience will be considered.
    • Appointments are transferable across Pakistan.
