Applications are invited from Pakistani Nationals for the PSDP-funded development project titled "Prime Minister's National Innovation Awards, Prime Minister's Youth Programme" on a contract basis.

1. Position: Deputy Director (Coordination)

Grade: PPS-08
Quota: Merit

Qualification & Experience:

• Qualification: First Class Master's/Bachelor's degree (16 years) in Management Sciences/Business Administration/Public Administration, Information Technology/Computer Science, or Engineering & Technology from an HEC-recognized university.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience in project preparation, formulation, project design, grants management, and documentation in a managerial position, with at least 3 years' experience in a startup/entrepreneurial setup.
  Maximum Age: 50 years

2. Position: Assistant Director

Grade: PPS-07
Quota: Punjab

Qualification & Experience:

• Qualification: First Class Master's/Bachelor's degree (16 years) in Management Sciences/Business/Public Administration, Computer Science, or Project Management from an HEC-recognized university.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years' relevant experience in project preparation, formulation, project design, and documentation.
  Maximum Age: 45 years

3. Position: Assistant Director (Communication)

Grade: PPS-07
Quota: Punjab
No. of Posts: 01
Qualification & Experience:

• Qualification: First Class Master's/Bachelor's degree (16 years) in Management Sciences, Mass Communication, or Media Sciences from an HEC-recognized university.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years' relevant experience in communication methods and approaches, planning, designing, and implementing communication systems, data/information collection and analysis, and report writing, preferably in research marketing.
  Maximum Age: 45 years

General Instructions

1. Experience refers to experience gained after obtaining the minimum required qualification.
2. Detailed job descriptions are available on the HEC website.
3. Applicants are required to apply online at HEC Careers Portal. No need to send a hard copy of the CV or documents.
4. A test will be conducted at the nearest possible location to the candidates (Islamabad/Rawalpindi, Karachi, Lahore, Quetta & Peshawar).
5. Interviews for eligible candidates residing outside the Islamabad/Rawalpindi region will be conducted via Audio/Video conferencing at the nearest possible location of the candidates (Karachi, Lahore, Quetta & Peshawar).
6. The application processing fee of Rs. 600/- should be deposited online in HEC’s account (A/C No. 17427900133401) at Habib Bank Ltd, and proof of receipt must be uploaded on the HEC website.
7. Candidates already in government service should apply through proper channels.
8. Age relaxation of 5 years is already included. Further relaxation will be given as per government rules.
9. Experience in part-time, honorary, apprentice, or internship positions will not be counted as experience.
10. Selectees can be posted anywhere in Pakistan.
11. HEC reserves the right to reject any or all applications without providing a reason and to increase/decrease the number of vacancies as per the requirement.
12. The last date for submission of online applications is November 8, 2024. Incomplete or late applications will not be entertained.
