Vacancies for Community Health Inspectors
Introduction
PHC Global, under the title of "Community Health Speaker Initiative," is seeking Community Health Inspectors for one of its projects. These professionals will play a crucial role in ensuring access to essential healthcare services in remote areas, focusing on maternal health, safe deliveries, prenatal and postnatal care, and other healthcare outreach activities.
Key Responsibilities
The Community Health Inspectors will be responsible for:
- Promoting Nutritional Health
- Conduct assessments and distribute nutritional supplements to improve community well-being.
- Supporting Immunization Campaigns
- Assist in running vaccination drives and ensuring community participation.
- Providing Adolescent Counseling
- Offer guidance and consultations to adolescents regarding health and well-being.
- Screening for Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs)
- Conduct health checks to detect and manage conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and more.
- Tuberculosis (TB) Screening
- Facilitate testing and monitoring within the community to prevent TB outbreaks.
- Enhancing Community Health Outcomes
- Engage actively in health education, referrals, and linking communities with necessary healthcare services.
Vacancies by District
The following positions are available at the district level:
- Muzaffargarh: 120 Community Health Workers
- Dera Ghazi Khan: 150 Community Health Workers
- Rahim Yar Khan: 150 Community Health Workers
- Rajanpur: 100 Community Health Workers
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be certified nurses, midwives, or Lady Health Visitors (LHVs) registered with the Pakistan Nursing and Midwifery Council (PNMC).
- Be domiciled in the relevant district for which they are applying.
Project Duration
This is a one-year project.
