Hiring of Project Incremental Staff
The Local Government & Community Development Department (LG&CDD) invites applications from qualified and experienced individuals for the recruitment of Project Incremental Staff on a contract basis under the Developing Resilient Environment and Advancing Municipal Services (DREAMS-I) Project. The initial contract period will be one (1) year, extendable based on satisfactory performance.
Project Coordination Unit (Lahore)
1. Contract Management Expert (01 Post)
Maximum Age: 55 years
Qualifications & Experience:
- Graduate or preferably postgraduate degree in Corporate Law, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of general experience, with at least 2-3 years of relevant work experience in Urban Sector Development and successful project implementation.
- Experience in a similar role within the public sector, focusing on climate resilience.
- Strong knowledge of Local Rules & Laws, policies, and acts related to the urban water sector.
- Expertise in FIDIC regulations and experience working on large development projects.
2. Legal Reforms & Compliance Expert (01 Post)
Maximum Age: 50 years
Qualifications & Experience:
- Graduate or preferably postgraduate degree in Social Sciences, Law, Urban Governance, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of general experience, with at least 2-3 years of relevant work experience in Urban Sector Development and Urban Municipal Services.
- Experience in the public sector, focusing on legal reforms, capacity building, and compliance management.
- Strong understanding of Local Rules & Laws, policies, and acts related to the urban sector.
3. Gender Associate Expert (01 Post)
Maximum Age: 50 years
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences (Gender Studies), Gender, or a relevant field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience working in program/project support for national-level organizations focused on social development and gender issues.
- Experience working on gender issues in South Punjab with strong project coordination abilities.
- Understanding of community mobilization approaches and willingness to travel.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in project monitoring, with strong communication and reporting skills.
- Responsible for regular coordination with the CIT and community mobilization teams and ongoing monitoring & reporting of gender interventions.
4. Deputy Director Procurement & Contracts (01 Post)
Maximum Age: 45 years
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Procurement & Contracts Management, Business Administration, Finance, Law, or a relevant field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in procurement, contract management, and bid administration.
- At least 3 years of experience in similar projects or assignments in organizations with comparable conditions.
- Strong communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent IT skills, data handling, and analysis expertise.
Additional Information:
- Salaries will be market-based, as approved in the PC-I of the Program.
