The Competition Commission of Pakistan invites applications from talented, self-motivated, result-oriented, and energetic candidates for appointment as Management Executive(s) initially on a two-year contract for the following positions:

1. Management Executive (OFT/C&TA/Exemptions)

  • Minimum Qualification:
    • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Law, Economics, or Finance from an HEC-recognized institution.
    • Qualified accountants may also apply.
  • Age Limit: 28 years
  • Preferred Experience/Skills:
    1. Ability to gather, analyze, and process market structures and dynamics across various economic sectors.
    2. Experience in conducting inquiries and collecting/analyzing information.
    3. Ability to draft inquiry reports on cartel behavior and deceptive marketing practices.
    4. Proficient in managing correspondence with stakeholders.
    5. Hands-on experience with analytical tools (e.g., Business Objects, Power BI, Tableau) is an added advantage.
    6. Skilled in maintaining case documentation and evidence records.
    7. Willingness to travel across Pakistan for inquiries.
  • Preferred Background:
    • Experience in special audits or inquiries.
    • Law graduates with corporate case handling experience.
  • Number of Positions: 5

2. Management Executive (Mergers and Acquisitions)

  • Minimum Qualification:
    • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Law, Economics, or Finance from an HEC-recognized institution.
    • Qualified accountants may also apply.
  • Age Limit: 28 years
  • Preferred Experience/Skills:
    1. Strong understanding of corporate laws and financial reporting frameworks.
    2. Ability to review share purchase agreements and analyze pre/post M&A corporate capital structures.
    3. Knowledge of PSX disclosure requirements for listed companies regarding M&A transactions.
    4. Skills in analyzing financial and non-financial data for M&A reports.
    5. Hands-on experience in M&A (sell-side or buy-side due diligence) is an added advantage.
  • Number of Positions: 2

3. Management Executive (Legal)

  • Minimum Qualification:
    • LLB/LLM from an HEC-recognized institution.
  • Age Limit: 28 years
  • Preferred Experience/Skills:
    1. Expertise in drafting legal documents and conducting legal research.
    2. Ability to represent the organization in various judicial forums.
    3. Solid understanding of legal principles and analytical skills.
    4. Strong communication skills for explaining complex legal concepts.
  • Number of Positions: 6

4. Management Executive (Networks)

  • Minimum Qualification:
    • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Information Technology from an HEC-recognized institution.
  • Age Limit: 28 years
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years
  • Preferred Experience/Skills:
    1. Knowledge of Routers, Switches, Access Points, TMG/Exchange Server, Domain Controller (DHCP, Active Directory, DNS), VPN configurations, intrusion detection systems, and firewall setups.
    2. Ability to manage LAN/WAN/VPN performance and end-user support, including video conferencing systems.
    3. Preference for candidates with CCNA and CCNP certifications.
  • Number of Positions: 1
