The incumbent shall be responsible for managing the IT department of MEPCO and will also provide leadership in the development and implementation of company-wide IT programs with the objective of recommending and implementing I.T related strategic plans, policies, procedures & programs for the company, IT operations of the company, IT network management, reporting, team management & development, to ascertain & ensure hardware requirements for smooth I.T operations and providing network communications & management information services to accomplish corporate goals and objectives.
Provide IT support to all departments of the Company as well as close support for digitisation to the OperationsDepartment of the company in areas including, but not limited to:
Design Capabilities, providing IT support to ERP and other digital automation technologies.
- Responsible for design and development of software applications being utilised in the Company
- Supervise the maintenance of the IT hardware for ERP system and other software applications in use in the company
- Maintain a close liaison with PITC and
any other Vendors for the deployment and development of applications designed/ developed by them as well as outsourcing in future for any development
- Maintain proper records of all IT assets
in the Company as well as housekeeping - Work with management to support technology transformation programs - Provide seamless automation support to all Directorates of the Company

Reporting to the CIO in MEPCO the
incumbent shall be responsible for
supporting in the functioning of thelT
department of MEPCO and will also
provide support in the development and
