CAREER OPPORTUNITY – CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER (CFO) & COMPANY SECRETARY

A public sector company is seeking dynamic and result-oriented professionals for the following key positions. This is an excellent opportunity for qualified individuals to contribute to a growing organization in the energy sector.

1. Position: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Description:
The CFO will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations of the company, including financial planning, risk management, JV accounting, regulatory compliance, and cost control. The role requires independent handling of financial matters and strategic decision-making.

Qualification & Experience Requirements:

Chartered Accountant (ACA) with at least 5 years of post-qualification experience.

Preferred background in the Oil & Gas Exploration & Production (E&P) sector.

Proven experience in:

Joint Venture (JV) accounting

Cost management

Financial reporting and compliance

Strong knowledge of:

International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)

Taxation laws

Corporate laws applicable in Pakistan

Demonstrated leadership, analytical, and communication skills.

Age Requirement:

Not more than 45 years on the closing date of application.

2. Position: Company Secretary

Description:
The Company Secretary will ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, manage board meetings, maintain corporate records, and support legal and governance functions.

Qualification & Experience Requirements:

Recognized professional qualification in finance or accountancy:

ACA (Associate Chartered Accountant)

ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants)

ACMA (Associate Cost and Management Accountant)

In-depth knowledge of:

Companies Act, 2017

SECP rules and corporate governance framework

Fair understanding of legal and commercial matters.

Minimum experience:

3 years for ACA

5 years for ACCA/ACMA

Experience must include handling company secretarial functions independently, such as:

Organizing board meetings

Preparing and writing meeting minutes

Strong skills in:

Compliance management

Drafting and communication

Age Requirement:
