The Bank of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (BAJK) is an emerging and rapidly growing financial institution wholly owned by the Azad Government of the State of Jammu and Kashmir. BAJK focuses on strengthening its institutional capacity through continuous upgradation in terms of human resources at the bank.

Currently, BAJK is looking for young, energetic, result-oriented individuals who are team players and willing to work in a challenging environment with significant growth opportunities. Eligible candidates who meet the following criteria are encouraged to apply for the available position.

Position/Job Title:

Educational/Professional Qualification:

  • Minimum Intermediate qualification (Graduation degree or equivalent from SSC Board/HEC recognized university/institute is preferable).

Experience:

  • Experience is not required; however, experienced individuals will be given due weightage.

Age Limit:

  • 18 to 42 years as of the closing date of the advertisement.

Nationality:

  • Pakistan/AJK domicile holders.

  • Preference will be given to BAJK State subjects.

Knowledge, Skills & Expertise Preferred:

  • Good communication skills.

  • Computer literacy is mandatory.

  • Muzaffarabad Region: 03

  • Rawalakot Region: 13

  • Mirpur Region: 11

  • Kotli Region: 12

  • Refugees Quota: 06

  • Reserved Quota: 04 (for disabled persons)

Regional Classification:

  • Muzaffarabad Region: District Muzaffarabad, District Neelum, District Hattian.

  • Mirpur Region: District Mirpur, District Bhimber.

  • Kotli Region: District Kotli.

  • Rawalakot Region: District Rawalakot, District Bagh, District Haveli, District Sudhnoti.

Place of Posting:

  • Selected candidates will be placed in any branch within their respective region as per the classification mentioned above.

Assessment Test & Interviews:

  • Only shortlisted candidates who strictly meet the eligibility criteria will be invited for a test/interview.

Employment Type:

  • Employment will be purely on a contract basis for an initial period of two years.

  • After two years of contractual service, employees may be absorbed into the regular cadre based on satisfactory performance and compliance with other terms and conditions as per bank policy.

  • Selected candidates will be offered a competitive compensation package and other benefits as per the bank’s policies and procedures.

Important Notes:

  1. Candidates can only apply for their respective regions as per their domicile classification.

  2. Selection will be strictly based on merit and as per BAJK’s approved recruitment policy and procedures.

  3. Successful candidates will be placed in any branch of their respective region.

  4. No TA/DA will be provided for test/interview.

  5. Cancellation of Previous Advertisement: The previous advertisement published on February 11, 2024, in Daily Dawn Islamabad (AJK-112-DB/02/24) and Daily Jang Rawalpindi (AJK112-DB/02/2024) is now canceled. Applicants who previously applied must re-register on the OTS website and complete all necessary formalities.

  2. The printed registration form along with the original deposit slip must be sent to the below address.

  3. Applications must be received within 15 days of the advertisement’s publication.

  4. Open Testing Service (OTS) is not responsible for late applications sent through post or other services.

  5. Applicants should regularly check the OTS website for updates regarding Roll No. Slips, Written Test Schedules, Results, etc.

  6. Candidates must clearly mention the following details in their application:

    • Qualification (with Percentage/CGPA/Division)
