Lahore: The United States Educational Foundation in Pakistan (USEFP) is inviting the applications from Pakistani students for the prestigious 2018 Fulbright Student (Master's and PhD) and Fulbright-Higher Education Commission (HEC) PhD Programme, which completely sponsors Master's or PhD study at the top universities in the United States (US).
Application forms for the abovemention scholarships program is available online at www.usefpakistan.org.

Last date for the submission of application forms is May 17th, 2017.
The US Embassy Cultural Affairs Officer Dr. Daniel Mattern said, "The Fulbright Programme offers Pakistani students a chance to get a high-quality, graduate-level education while also building mutual understanding between the United States and Pakistan."
"The government of United States is pleased to support the education of bright, young Pakistanis who wish to make a positive difference in their societies after completing their studies," he added.

Women, people along with disabilities, as well as the aspirants from FATA, KPK, AJK, Gilgit-Baltistan, Balochistan, northern Sindh, and southern Punjab are highly encouraged to apply for these programs.
All disciplines are eligible excluding clinical medicine. The candidates studying energy, water, health, education, and agricultural disciplines are strongly encouraged to apply for these scholarships.
"The Fulbright Scholarship is undoubtedly an exceptional chance for the students of Pakistan for getting higher education in US," said USEFP Executive Director Rita Akhtar.
"The programme is purely merit-based, however merit is measured in terms of potential instead of only grades or test scores. Hence, we encourage the applications from anyone who has completed a Bachelor's degree and has dreams of using a higher degree to contribute to Pakistan's development."
