UMT Made a Distinct Record for Granting Scholarships!

The University of Management and Technology has recently created a unique record. The UMT which is currently operating under the ILM Trust, has recently set a distinctive record by awarding scholarships worth over PKR 13 billion to more than 33,000 deserving students across Pakistan. This massive achievement reflects the UMT’s unwavering commitment and passion for making higher education accessible to all students regardless of their financial constraints. Through these UMT scholarships, the institute also focused on providing education to the students from underprivileged backward areas such as Sindh district areas, Gilgit Baltistan and Balochistan. Transforming Lives Across Pakistan 

UMT scholarship program spans over 110 districts, reaching the underprivileged areas too such as Sindh, Balochistan and Gilgit Baltistan. UMT scholarship pays a special focus on supporting orphans, working students and individuals from minority communities, breaking barriers and nurturing equality in education system of Pakistan. 

The initiative is designed to ensure that talented individuals from all over Pakistan have the equal opportunity to excel academically and professionally while contributing to a more equitable society. 

A Visionary Leadership Driving Change 

This remarkable achievement has been made possible under the visionary leadership of President ILM Trust/ UMT, Ibrahim Hasan Murad. Through the ILM Fund, UMT has significantly expanded its scholarship program, increasing the percentage of students receiving financial aid from 40% to an impressive 61% over the last five years. Currently total 51% students of UMT are getting support from these scholarships and allowing students to pursue their dreams without financial limitation.

The ILM Fund continues to provide financial support to students and allowing them to unlock their complete potential and contribute to the Pakistan’s growth and prosperity. Ibrahim Hasan Murad also stated that UMT record of granting scholarships is the result of a collaborative effort involving faculty, staff, leadership, students and alumni. “We should all take great pride in this shared achievement,” he added.
