Sohail Warraich joins UMT Media School as Professor of Practice.

The University of Management and Technology has announced the appointment of noted senior journalist and TV anchor Sohail Warraich as the new Professor of Practice in its School of Media and Communication Studies. With an experience in quality journalism spanning close to 40 years, Warraich is one of the most respected names in Pakistani journalism. He is widely considered an authority on power politics and dynastic politics prevalent in Pakistan.  Warraich was born in Jauharabd, Khushab district. He received a master's degree in English literature from the University of the Punjab. 

Warraich began his journalism career in 1984 and has been a significant part of the Jang Media Group and GEO TV.

He also hosts the popular TV program Ek Din Geo k Sath, an interview-based program on celebrity lifestyle.
