Requirements for PU Admission Test?
- Prospective candidates aiming to enroll in undergraduate programs at Punjab University are eligible to apply.
- Applicants who have successfully completed their HSSC /inter or equivalent qualification are eligible to apply.
- Candidates who have appeared for their final HSSC/ inter exams and are awaiting their results are also eligible to apply.

PU Admission Test Application Process
Students can easily apply online for the Punjab university undergraduate admission test 2024 with the help of following given process:
- First of all students have to visit the official test portal of Punjab university.
- Register on the website and provide personal details such as name, CNIC number, and email address.
- Access the 'Punjab University Undergraduate Admission Test 2024' application from your account.
- Complete all required fields and attach the necessary documents.
- Generate the PU admission test fee challan form after completing your application.
- Pay the total test fee of Rs. 2,000/- using HBL, UBL mobile banking, 1Link 1Bill invoice, or through Easypaisa/Jazzcash/Upaisa wallets.
- Upload the paid receipt of your PU admission test fee to your portal.
- Once the paid receipt is uploaded, proceed to submit your PU admission test application.
- You can save your application progress midway, but ensure to submit it before the deadline, which is on 17th May 2024.
PU Admission Test Important Instructions:
- The total weightage of PU undergraduate admission test will be 25% percent in the final merit calculation.
- Previous year’s Punjab university undergraduate admission test is not acceptable.
- Students are required to attain at least 33% marks in their admission test.
- Students will be able to download their PU admission test roll number slip through the portal.
- Total 100 mcqs will come in each category of PU admission test and students will have only 120 minutes to attempt the whole test.
- Both LAT and PU Admission Test are mandatory for admission to LLB Programs at University of the Punjab.
- MDCAT or PU (M) Admission Test scores are valid for admission to the Doctor of Pharmacy Program (Pharm-D).
- Admission to Engineering Programs at University of the Punjab, Lahore (B. Sc. (Eng.) Chemical Engineering, B. Sc. (Eng.) Energy Engineering, B. Sc. (Eng.) Electrical Engineering, B. Sc. (Eng.) Metallurgy & Materials Engineering, and BSc. (Eng.) Industrial Engineering & Management) requires mandatory entry test as per PEC regulations. Scores of E-CAT (UET) or NUST Test or PU-E or PU-CSP are acceptable.
- Admission to College of Art & Design requires mandatory PU Undergraduate Admission Test along with a separate Drawing/Aptitude Test conducted by the College of Art & Design.
- Admission Notice for all Departments/ Centers/ Institutes /Colleges/ Schools of the University of the Punjab will be advertised separately in National Dailies and on the University official website, scheduled for 03rd July 2024.
