The Pakistan Medical Commission has made an important announcement regarding MDCAT 2022. According to the statement issued by the respective authorities, MDCAT 2022 has been postponed due to the ongoing flood situation in the country. The revised scheduled dates for each city will be soon informed to the students. It is pertinent to mention here that the MDCAT 2022 will be now held according to the new schedule provided by the PMC.

According to the PMC Act 2020, the National Medical Authority has been entrusted to conduct the medical entrance exam which was scheduled for the current year from 7th September 2022 to 30th September 2022 as per the directives issued by the Medical and Dental Council. On the order issued by the Ministry of National Health Services, Regulations, and Coordination the NMA has postponed the MDCAT due to the national emergency. The National Medical Authority has also received many complaints from the registered students regarding the ongoing situation as many areas of Sindh, KPK, Balochistan, and Southern Punjab have been affected by the floods.
Instructions For Students
Dates for the conduction of the MDCAT 2022 in each city are subject to further revision in response to the Flood situation in any area of the country in consultation with local authorities and NDMA. In case any student remains unable to take the test due to the flood will be accommodated by the PMC on the special dates. Moreover, the candidates will be able to reschedule the dates of the test. The schedule of the MDCAT 2022 will be available o the applicant’s portal at the end of this week
