Islamabad: Once again girls outperformed boys in HSSC annual exams 2017, with six of them along with a boy sharing the top three positions
Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) declared the results of Higher secondary school certificate (part-2) annual exams 2017 on Wednesday evening. According to the declared result, the overall passing percentage remained at 83.36 percent.

Accoring to the officials of BISE Federal board total 85,140 regular and private students had appeared for the exams out of which 70,969 were declared pass.
The passing percentage for the regular students in the exams remained at 91.82% whereas the passing percentage for private candidates remained at 47.64%.

Qandeel Khurshid of the Islamabad Model College for Girls in Sector I – 10/4 and Shehzeen Tariq of the Connoisseur Grammar School System on Queen Road in Sargodha Cantt shared the first position by securing 1034 marks from total 1050 marks.
The second position was shared by the Momina BVashir of the Army Public School for Girls in Lahore and Wajeeha Irfan from the Army Public School and College in Rawalpindi. Both the female students have secured 1032 marks.

On the other hand, the third position was shared by three students who obtained 1031 marks. These three students were Maheer Mubashir of Iqra Grammar School in Sargodha, Zahra Nawaz of The Educators High School in Rawalpindi and Isbah Iftikhar of the Hamza Army Public School in Rawalpindi.
