NUST Undergraduate Eligibility Criteria:
Following is the NUST university eligibility criteria for the undergraduate programs:
- Students need at least 60% marks in both your SSC and HSSC exams.
- If you're from the FA/FSc result awaiting student, you can apply based on your Part-I results, but you must provide your complete FA/FSc result later.
- If you're from a non-FSc stream with a different qualification, you need an equivalence certificate from IBCC, Pakistan, with at least 60% marks.
- O/A Level or other foreign equivalent qualification holders can apply with an O-level equivalence certificate, but they must later provide an A Level equivalence certificate from IBCC, Pakistan.
- Candidates are also required to clear the NUST entry test 2024 or must submit the valid scores of ACT / SAT tests in case of non-FSc stream.
- Once selected, you must provide a Medical Certificate from a government hospital or registered medical consultant.
NUST University Application Process:
Follow these below given steps to successfully apply for the NUST undergraduate admission 2024:
- Visit the NUST UG admission portal and sign up with your full name, father’s name and email.
- Check your email for a login ID and password to access the NUST undergraduate admission portal.
- Log in and read the instructions carefully before filling out the online form.
- Fill out the application form and provide all necessary information and documents.
- Select your computer based NUST NET test date and centre from the available options.
- Choose a payment method: either use the Fee Invoice to pay at any HBL online branch, use a credit card, or use the 1Link service with a unique 17-digit invoice number.
- Payment through Fee Invoice will be verified within three working days; 1Link payments will be instantly confirmed via email, while credit card users need to share payment details via email.
- Direct fund transfer to university is not accepted.
- After form submission and fee verification, review your application.
- Providing false information will result in admission cancellation at any stage.
- After reviewing your application, you can successfully submit your NUST UG admission application.
NUST NET Test 2024
The university will also conduct the NET test 2024 for these series 3 undergraduate admissions. This NUST NET test 2024 will be based on intermediate subjects relevant to candidates studied program. This NUST NET will be conducted in four different cities; Islamabad, Karachi, Quetta and Gilgit. At the Islamabad and Quetta campuses the NET Test will be conducted in computer-based format, while In Karachi and Gilgit it will be conducted in paper-based format. The duration of this NUST entry test 2024 will be 3 hours. These test are expected to start from 26th March 2024 onwards.
