The National University of Medical Sciences (NUMS) has recently announced the registration process for the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) for the year 2023. NUMS MDCAT is a highly prestigious examination that serves as the gateway for aspiring medical and dental students in Pakistan to secure admissions in renowned medical institutions across the country. This year, NUMS has taken significant steps to streamline the registration process, ensuring convenience and accessibility for all applicants.
Eligibility Criteria for NUMS MDCAT 2023
To be eligible for the NUMS MDCAT 2023, candidates must fulfill the following criteria:
- Must have completed Intermediate or an equivalent qualification (Pre-Medical Group) with a minimum of 70% marks.
- The age limit for candidates is 18 to 25 years (as of the closing date of the application).
Streamlined Registration Process 2023
NUMS has implemented a simplified and user-friendly registration process for the MDCAT 2023 examination.
The registration can be completed online through the official NUMS website. Here is a step-by-step breakdown of the registration process:

STEP 1
To begin, access the official website of NUMS by visiting https://mdcat2023.numspak.edu.pk/forms/candidate_login.aspx Look for the banner that displays the option "For Registration, Please Click Here." The accompanying image represents the location of the button.

If this is your first visit, select the "Click Here to Register" option.

STEP 3
Provide your CNIC, name as per SSC, email address, and password. Ensure you remember the password. Additionally, input the characters displayed in the image.

STEP 4
You are required to upload a photograph with a blue background. Visit a professional photography studio to obtain the picture, which can be emailed or saved on a USB. Moreover, upload a scanned copy of your CNIC, Form B, or Passport.

When you uploaded your picture and CNIC Picture and new tab is showing in below is Profile Information. Complete all the mandatory fields, which are self-explanatory. For the postal address, enter the location where your card will be shipped.

After complete your personal information, You have the option to choose any exam center during this step.

After Complteing your personal inforamtion and selection of desired exam center next you have the option to view your profile and Download and print the Bank Challan form.

Download Challan Form and Print the Challan and visit an HBL branch to deposit the required fees. NUMS MDCAT Registration Fees is 4200 PKR.

Capture a photo of the deposited Challan using your phone, Login your account on NUMS website and upload it to the portal and Click on Submit Button

After the registration deadline, roll number slips will be uploaded to the NUMS Website. All students can download their slips by entering their CNIC on the portal. You will receive guidance on when the slips become available.
Important Instructions
- The candidates are required to arrive at their designated centers no later than three hours prior to the start of the test on Sunday, September 3, 2023. The centers will be closed and no entry will be permitted half an hour before the test begins on the scheduled day.
- The MDCAT (NUMS)-2023 examination will take place concurrently at all local Exam Centers, starting at 10:00 AM PST.
- The specific timing for MDCAT (NUMS)-2023 at International Centers will be specified on the admit card.
- Admit Cards/Roll No Slips will be generated for all eligible candidates. Candidates must download them from the NUMS website (www.numspak.edu.pk) by entering their CNIC, Passport/NICOP/B Form number.

Candidates are required to bring the following items with them on the day of the test: -
- Printed admit cards (downloaded from the website)
- Original "B" Form (with the original Matriculation certificate bearing the candidate's photograph) or Original CNIC (Computerized National Identity Card) or Original Passport/NICOP (National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis).
- No other form of identification will be accepted.
- In the event of loss of "B" Form or CNIC, please provide the Original NADRA (National Database and Registration Authority) Slip as proof of having applied for a fresh "B" Form or CNIC.
- A clean clip board.
- Please bring two blue or black ballpoint pens (not pointers, markers, pencils, gel pens, etc.)
- Mobile phones, smartwatches, and other electronic devices are strictly prohibited inside the examination hall. Violators will face severe disciplinary action, including possible cancellation of their paper and being barred from MDCAT (NUMS).
