The Global Korea Scholarship 2025 is a scholarship offered by the government of Korea for international students. Global education exchange and the development of close friendships between Korea and participating countries are fostered through this scholarship. Around 367 students from all over the world will be selected to participate in the GKS Scholarship 2025 undergraduate program for associate's as well as bachelor's degree programs.
Global Korea Undergraduate Scholarship
The Global Korea Undergraduate scholarship will cover full expenses to live and study in South Korea. There are two ways through which a student can apply for the GKS undergraduate program, either it is an Embassy Track or the University Track. Every embassy or university is unique, and deadlines vary. Using the university track, you would contact the university you are interested in, where they would provide you with their deadline.
Using the Embassy track, you would contact the Korean Embassy in your country for the deadline. The Global Korea Scholarship has provided 367 scholarships offered in total: while 87 seats under the embassy track, the remaining seats number to 280 under the University track.

Eligibility
- Applicants who are interested in applying for the Global Korea Undergraduate Scholarship should be the nationality holder of the designated country of NIIED.
- Applicants must not hold dual citizenship or Korean citizenship
- Graduates, as well as candidates who will graduate shortly, from high school or associate's degree could apply for an undergraduate bachelor's degree.
- Graduates or students who can have the expected graduation of a high school diploma may apply for the associate's degree program.
- Bachelor Degree holders are only eligible for the GKS 2025 to international students
- Students who have associate degrees can only apply for the bachelor's course only
- The CGPA score percentile should be at or above 80%; this would translate to a minimum of CGPA score at 2.64/4.00 and upwards for international students;
- The applicant must be less than 25 years old to qualify for this South Korea scholarship.
- Health status should be both psychologically and physically fit.
- They ought to provide their English Language Requirements/Certificates.
