Lahore: The Punjab Education Department (PED) has announced the new timings for schools in winter crosswise the province.
As per the representative of education department, the new timings will be effective from October 17th, 2016.

The schools for girls will remain opened from 8 am to 1:30 pm whereas the schools for boys will open at 8:30 am to 2:00 pm.
Double shift schools will work from 7:30 am to 12:00 pm while the timing for second shift will be from 12:30 am to 5 pm in the winter season.
