Lahore, Students of Forman Christian College, Husnain Iqbal, Roll No 13-10192 and Javeria Younas Abbassi, Roll No 12-10124, submitted their papers to the International Development: Progress, Regress or Stasis Conference, organized by the University of East London, and held on 10 November, 2012.
Husnain Iqbal’s paper on ‘Humanitarian intervention in Libya: Humanitarianism or Western powers’ interests?’ and Javeria Younas Abbassi’s paper on ‘US aid to Pakistan; International Democratization versus geo-political interests’, were selected at the international undergraduate conference.
The papers were selected from many documents that the conference received from all over the world. This not only speaks of the quality of the students but also highlights the completion of the activities and the sincerity of effort that the Political Science Department puts in its students.
