Lahore: One-day web programming workshop for women entitled as Django Girls is being planned in Lahore. The workshop will take place on May 28th, 2016 at the Information Technology University (ITU).
Basically, this workshop is the part of the wider Django Girls enterprise. It is the first time that this creativity is being taken in Pakistan. This workshop is being lead by QC Technologies’ Ammara Laeeq, Zahid Irfan and Waqas Younas as well. They realized what a great opportunity it will be for the learners to learn the basics of programming by using Python, CSS, Django as well as HTML.
The candidates are not required to know anything about programming. Actually, even for the complete beginners, it is also a good place to begin learning how to develop a website. Numerous coaches are available to guide the beginners. The attendees of the workshop will also be able to meet the inspirational people Information Technology (IT) industry.
The candidates are required to bring their own laptops with them. On the software side, it would help to have Django installed earlier however it does not matter as the coaches will be there to install it also on the spot.
The candidates belonging to any city of Pakistan can take part in this workshop. The organizers are also ready to provide financial assistance along with booking flights or hotels in Lahore.
