Many Universities and colleges in the Medical field provide DPT Admissions in Pakistan or doctor of physical therapy in the spring and fall semester annually every year. Only the most talented and most competitive students are allowed admission for the DPT degree as the degree requires dedication and patience from the candidates.

Those candidates who wish to take admission for their DPT degree in Pakistan Leading Universities and Colleges need to apply for admission before the last due date and provide their detailed student credentials and certificates along with registration fee for their respected college.

The candidates will be required to undergo their respective admission test and interview in the next process as their educational documents are processed and verified. The candidates seeking Admission in DPT Program will be needed to submit their admission fee if they are selected for their DPT degree session within the due date.

DPT Admission Criteria in Pakistan

The universities which are recognized by the HEC and approved for DPT program, they can induct students as per their defined criteria. However, if you want to go for medical fields in Pakistan, there are some allied health institutions which do not have status of self-degree awarding institutions and they are affiliated from any medical university. They have to follow DPT admission 2024 and exam policy of that respective university from where they are affiliated.

Various DPT institutions prepare merit on the basis of FSc. pre medical marks.
Some institutions induct students on the basis of FSc. Pre medical marks and DPT Entry Test.
Some Institutions offer admissions on the basis Percentage of Matric, FSc Medical & Entry Test marks.
In some institutions, interview is also compulsory with one of the above requirement.

DPT Admission Process 2024

The candidates need to apply before DPT admission date 2024 so they have to complete the following steps in order to take admission in any college or university including DPT admission in Govt medical colleges. They must complete DPT program admission requirements as follows:

DPT Entry Test 2024

Those institutes which have requirement of Entry Test for DPT Admission in Pakistan, they conduct their Internal Entry Test for DPT in Pakistan. This DPT admission test is also called Aptitude Test for DPT and interview is also mandatory with test. The university conducts an Aptitude Test for all eligible students. The level of questions in all sections are expected according to Intermediate or equivalent qualifications. It consists of Multiple Choice questions with four to five sections to assess student's performance. It includes:

Q: What is the procedure of DPT admission?
Ans: The students who want to get admission in DPT need to complete the required documents of respective institute. The students need to fill admission form and have to submit either online or by hand. After payment of Challan fee, wait for merit lists. If your name comes on merit then pay admission fee in the respective institute and start study.
Q: Which are the top universities for DPT admission in Lahore?
Ans: There are various universities in Lahore offering DPT degree program in which the students can get enrolled. The students can get admission in King Edward Medical University, The Superior University, the University of Lahore and University of Management and Technology. Both public and private sector universities offer DPT admission in Lahore College.
Q: What is the criterion for getting admission in DPT?
Ans: Different universities have set up different criteria for admission in DPT program. Mostly universities have same basic criteria for admission. The students must need to score minimum 60% marks in Fsc with physics, chemistry and biology for admission in DPT. Ans: No, Punjab University does not offer DPT admission. PU offer admission in Pharm D and other BS programs.

Ans: No, MDCAT is not required in all universities for admission in DPT. Some universities conduct test for admission in DPT. Kind Edward Medical University and Allama Iqbal Medical University add MDCAT marks in the merit calculation for admission in DPT.

Ans: DPT is five years degree program in physiotherapy. For getting admission in DPT, the candidates need very high aggregate. If you get good marks in matric, Fsc pre medical and admission entry test then you can easily get admission in DPT.

Ans: For admission in DPT in KEMU, the marks of matric, Fsc pre medical and MDCAT are included. The students need to pass all exams with good marks. The merit of KEMU for DPT is higher than other universities.

Ans: There are a number of private institutes which offer admission in five year DPT degree program. Lahore College of Physiotherapy, Hajvery University, Gulab Devi Educational Complex, Nur International University, Akhtar Saeed Medical and Dental college, City Institute of Management & Emergency Sciences and Central Park Medical College , Lahore offer admission in DPT degree program.
