The Virtual University of Pakistan (VUP) has opened its admissions for the Spring 2025 semester. An admission period for them started on 15 January 2025 and will end on 7 March 2025. It includes Associate Degree, Bachelor (BS) programs, Diploma programs, and Certificate courses. The university provides a flexible model of learning where students can study online across the globe, with the support of its physical campus.
Admission Process
VUP offers an online application for prospective students. Some of the general admission requirements for master programs include the following: Applicants will have to pay an admission processing fee of Rs. 500 till 10 March 2025. All programs based on merit like BS Bioinformatics, BS Biotechnology, BS Zoology, The first merit list will be uploaded on 17 March 2025, and the fee Last Date is 21-03-2025. For all other programs, the application deadline is March 26, 2025, along with the registration fee to be paid by March 29, 2025. Students newly admitted to the M.A program are to participate in an orientation from March 31 to April 4, 2025, with classes beginning on April 7, 2025.
Eligibility and Criteria
Eligibility requirements differ according to the program. For undergraduate programs, a candidate usually needs at least 45% marks in their intermediate or equivalent exam. Most graduate programs require a bachelor's degree (at least 2.0 CGPA). The university's prospectus and official website contain information on specific requirements for each program. Candidates intending to apply to a programme are advised to assess their eligibility based on the criteria set for this programs.
