University of Sargodha

The University of Sargodha (UOS) if commonly referred to is a public university in Sargodha district, region of Punjab, Pakistan. It was formed in 2002 and has grown into one of the leading universities in Pakistan for the region, apart from the emerging areas. Its main campus in Sargodha is complemented by several sub campuses in other cities, thereby providing educational opportunities to diverse student backgrounds. The university has a full fledged accreditation by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan for being a global standard for quality education with orientation towards research.
