The University College of Medicine and Dentistry (UCMD), Lahore released its merit lists for the 2024-2025 academic year for admissions in MBBS and BDS programs in various rounds to confirm admission in all available seats. For MBBS, there were sometimes up to eight selection lists released where as BDS released four selection lists. Candidates needed to subsequently confirm their admissions by submitting documents, fees. for approval by 2:00 PM, Friday, March 28, 2025. Candidates who failed to submit all contact data and fee payment for admission confirmation would have their admission cancelled. The merit list were available on UCMD's website to ensure transparency and open access for applicants.

Admission Confirmation Process
For candidates who secured can admission there were important steps in the administration procedures to fulfill. First, they were to obtain their admission letter and fee vouchers from the UCMD admission office. Second, candidates were to submit a written confirmation of joining in the format indicated. Candidates were to produce their original deposit slip for fee payment and submit it along with the written joining confirmation. Finally, candidates being admitted to UCMD after an upgrade from another institution, were to report with their paid fee slips and appropriate documents for admission confirmation in order to keep their place at UCMD. It is important to note that admissions were based on the verification of original academic documents and if documents are found to be inconsistent, there could be a withdrawal of the admission offer.
Accessing the Merit Lists
UCMD publicly displayed each one of the merit lists online to allow candidates to check if they had made it in a selection round. The displayed merit lists were sorted by program (MBBS or BDS) and the order of the selection round. The candidates were allowed to download the merit list either in an online format or as a PDF document from UCMD's official website. It was important for the candidates to access the UCMD website regularly to keep abreast of updates and time limits imposed on each round of selection of each program to successfully complete the admission process.
