The engineering programs that one can take as an underground in SIET are Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering among others. This is to ensure that the curriculum that is offered meets the challenges that come with the profession as may be required in the future. It insists on practice and has equipped its students with up to date laboratories, workshops and computer laboratories. Furthermore, the faculty is comprised of qualified professionals who are dedicated toward providing academic and career advice to the students about the theoretical and practical side of their chosen programs. The institute also arranges industrial exposures like industrial visits and internships which then give the student a feel of the practical engineering problems.

General Physical condition The atmosphere in the campus of SIET creates a good ground for the growth and development in all aspect. Organised sports, technical clubs and societies play a vital part in the students’ activities in the institute. So those students who passed out from the SIET has to face job placements in many more numbers of national and International standard companies. It also offers the student affairs and employment services that are helpful to the student, especially when they are graduating and moving to practice engineering careers.
