Academic Programs Offered

The SUPARCO Institute of Technical Training (SITT) offer a three year apprenticeship training course leading to Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in Electronics and Mechanical disciplines, open for both male and female students. It is in accordance with the requirements of SBTE and SUPARCO. The core subjects covered by this program include electronics, automation, mechanical systems, and industrial technology. Besides the DAE programs, SITT will be responsible for short term courses and training programs offered in Satellite Remote Sensing (SRS) and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). This program is to provide in depth knowledge about areas relative to the field of space technology, satellite data processing, and geospatial analysis. The training will be provided to students, professionals, and organizations looking at ways and means to improve their understanding of space sciences and technologies applications.

Facilities & Activities

SITT is equipped with good laboratory facilities, workshops, and modern training equipment that support students in their learning and skill-building. The institute provides a hands-on experience using advanced equipment and simulation tools. Audio-visual faculties are a boon for in-class learning through interactive presentations. The institute, with a view to giving students real-world technical exposure, organizes field visits, case studies, and industrial exposure programs. Transport is also provided for students.
