Sukkur Institute Of Business Administration IBA University

Sukkar Institute of Business Administration is a private sector research university that has been educating and producing business leaders since 1994.This University is an autonomous degree awarding institute which is accredited and approved by the Higher Education Commission. The Government of Sindh has granted Charter to the university so that it can continue to render its services in the field of higher Education. The IBA Sukkar, envisions to establish a name in the field of Management Sciences, Engineering, Information Technology and Education.

In February 2025, STS, as a subsidiary of Sukkur IBA University, has rolled out a series of measures meant to add transparency and efficiency to recruitment and admission processes. On February 15, 2025, STS conducted recruitment tests for several positions most often in the Sindh High Court Karachi and the District and Sessions Judge Office Central Karachi. The answer keys for these tests will be published as on March 10, 2025. STS signed a memorandum of understanding with the Government of Sindh with a purpose to ensure transparent screening tests for Matriculation, Intermediate, and Graduation categories from BPS-05 to BPS-15. Such a partnership added weightage to STS's commitment to selection based on merit and consolidates its role with standard recruitment or admission screening tests in the province.

Various modern age facilities and services are provided at the university to assist the students. The custom built campus of IBA Sukkar houses well equipped computer laboratories, well stocked library and well-furnished classrooms. The university observes a semester system and there are two academic semesters per year namely fall and spring. The University of Sukkar has 6 functional Faculties functional under its umbrella.

Faculty of Management & Departments

The faculty of Management Sciences consists of Departments of Finance, Marketing, HRM and Economics. The faculty awards specialized degree programs in each discipline. The faculty produces some top quality business leaders and accountants. The faculty of Electrical Engineering is a full fledge faculty that offers accredited engineering programs. The faculty of Electrical engineering not only imparts theoretical knowledge but also provides hands on learning opportunities to the students. The faculty of Computer Sciences is a well-known and reputed Faculty of IBA Sukkar. Various graduate and post graduate level degrees are awarded by this Faulty.

The Faculty of Education is another eminent Faculty of IBA.A roster of well-qualified and experienced professors and instructors deliver premium education to the students. A faculty of Mathematics also exists on the campus that awards specialized and approved degrees in the field of Mathematics. The faculty of Business Administration offers the most sought degree programs. It is a top faculty of IBA.
