The Queen Mary College was initially founded as Victoria May Girls High School in 1908. The school was established to provide premium education to girls belonging to the elite and gentry class of the time. The School functioned in line to the English public schools. The major administrative and teaching faculty comprised of English women. On account of the commendable services rendered by the institution in the field of education, the Institution was upgraded to the status of a College and renamed as Queen Mary College. The Institute was named so to honor the Queen Consort of King George V of Great Brittan. However, colloquially, the school was referred to as “Purdah School” as the majority of the female students were Muslims who wore a veil.

This autonomous degree awarding body is situated in the heart of Lahore. The location of the institute at Davis Road is very prime and ideal. It is easily approachable from all areas of Lahore.

This highly reputed institute disseminates top class education and opens its door for only female students. Preschool, Primary, Secondary, GCE O-Level, Undergraduate and Post-graduate academic programs are offered by the Queen Mary College (QMC).

The QMC, which started with only 11 students enrolled in its first batch, currently is a home to more than 7000 female students who are receiving premium education from the institution. The old perception of QMC “an institute for elite class only” was removed when the institute opened its admission for all. The institute delivers education from grade one to post graduate level. Hence, the institute is divided into four sections namely Junior School, Senior School, College, and Post graduate section.

Worst college! Teachers are very illetrate and sarial. Staff is also very sarial and non coprative. Guideness 0% . No enjoyments.
